Back in 2003, we were finding so many new mobile websites and apps for the mobile phone, we could not keep track of it all. In general, sites for cell phones and PDAs were hard to find back then. So in 2004, we started a simple, one-page directory of mobile websites that looked like this.
We like to think it was moderately useful for at least six people, and over the next two years we slowly added to it, tweaked it, and added to it some more.
In the fall of 2006, as the mobile web was finally gaining some real traction, we decided it was time to truly make MobileMammoth a destination for mobile users to discover new and useful mobile websites and services.
