Never been to Cozumel but have been to Costa Maya. Costa Maya isn’t really a place, meaning it’s not on a map. It’s a pier the cruise lines built when Cozumel was wiped out by the hurricanes. At the pier there is a tourist center. It’s really nice. Lot’s of shopping and bargaining, and a huge salt water pool. You can swim on the beach as it’s all rocks. We took the Beach Break excursion.
