Don’t Buy Anything Without Reading This First

With gas prices at $4 per gallon and rising, and an economy in a recession, it’s a good time to think about new ways to save money. Today, we have one for you. In fact, if you use this mobile website before making your next purchase of $100 or more, I can almost guarantee you will save money.
FatWallet.com saves money for its readers. By highlighting hot deals at major retailers, providing price comparisons, and through the very busy user forums, FatWallet can help you find a deal on just about anything.
At FatWallet.mobi, mobile web users can access their forums through a simple, no-frills mobile interface. So before you pull out your credit card for that HD flat screen TV, or that grill you need for the summer, remember that it is now incredibly easy to make sure you are getting the best deal. Simply browse over to FatWallet.mobi from your mobile browser, and search for the product or brand you have in mind.
I did a quick search for “HD TV”, and one of the first posts returned was for a Philips 50″ Plasma HD TV from Walmart for $1,098. After following the link to the Walmart product page, I read that this “special pricing is not available in stores.” Now that is the kind of info I need when one of the blue shirts at Best Buy is telling me what a deal they are offering.
Knowledge is power. Go get some.

It would be really nice if you could search within certain stores or exclude stores from searches. I’ve had problems in the past with some online stores and would like to rule them out initially. Besides that this site is pretty sweet, and will definitely save a ton of money.
