Find a Local Restaurant From Your Phone

Online dining guides are a good idea. Dining guides on the Mobile Web are even better (if done right).
Restaurant Row offers a mobile version of their dining guide, which lets you quickly search for restaurants by any combination of zip code, cuisine, and name of the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by both the number of restaurants returned, as well as the concise manner in which the information is presented.
I am a big fan of Thai food. After searching the mobile version for Thai restaurants within 5 miles of my zip code, I discovered there were many more Thai joints in my area than just the three that I knew about. You can be sure I will be trying them out soon.
Try it out yourself the next time you are trying to find a new restaurant in town.
