Yep, ive tested it, as many others. It is allmost the best. But still got one major disadvantage in front of other mobile browsers. It SWALLOWS broadband data.

Tottaly unproductive for users who dont have flat rate acc or very big quota on their GSM contract.

Ive tested same web page with Safari, Opera Mini and Skyfire. Both (1st and 2nd) do have option for optimizing pictures (so it reduces large amount of bandwidth ), and i didnt found that
option in Skyfire.

So, Safari and Opera Mini spent really minor data to show features and web sites, BUT as far i see, they dont run and execute ALL PAGES.

For example: I tried to find web browser (mobile for symbian Nokia E71) where i can run my KingsAge online web browser based game. Safari and Opera mini just didnt worked (i cant log in my web page and authorise data to start playing). Hm….than i thought its about the game, it is bugged. BUT, than i tried Skyfire….AND IT WORKS!!!!!

Again BUT, it works. It works with laaarge amount of data needed for transfer that web on my mobile. As i said before, cant find option to “optimize” graphic material which has to be downloaded to my phone.

So, im so sad about it. We need that improvement!

Need proof…here it is.

Amount of data needed to load some particular web page:

Safari 105kb
Opera btw. 85kb and 150kb
Skyfire 1MB

Think you got the point folks. Maybe i am wrong. But loads of testing get me allmost the same results.

If Skyfire reduce data swallowing (important for all those users around the world who have 20MB, 50MB, 100MB ….monthly packet), it will be ULTIMATE NO1 for sure.

Skyfire is by far the best mobile browser out PERIOD. I love crapping on Iphone users with my htc touch diamond. Skyfire is phenomenal, I highly recommend it. I only buy smartphones that run windows mobile, because I know I can install skyfire.
