Mobile Coupons Continue their Rise

July 27th, 2010 MobileFreak

Many of us have only heard about the upcoming impact of mobile coupons, but only recently are we actually seeing it happen.

I was again reminded of this by way of MobileMarketingWatch.com, where they higlighted the graphic below from PromotionalCodes.co.uk’s Money Saving Blog.

This is one of those cases where a picture tells a thousand words:

That’s a damn fine infographic! It’s a shame really, in the UK we don’t really have many opportunities to use these yet. Tesco have put their clubcard in a mobile app, so maybe we’ll see some early adoption from them?

Tesco have put their clubcard in a mobile app Barkk? That’s cool to know! I’m hoping mobility will continue to improve so we can do everything with our mobile phones :)

I’m originally from the UK but have been living in the US for the past two years, during which time I have had the opportunity to take advantage of mobile coupons! They are so quick and easy to use and have definitely changed the way I save money! Recently I have been using a mobile coupon application called Peekaboo Mobile, which you can check out here http://peekaboomobile.com/

I’m returning to the UK soon, so I sure hope that mobile couponing starts to catch on over there!!
