Mobile Weather Goes Underground

December 10th, 2007 MobileFreak

Back in September, we wrote about the most popular mobile website for weather. While weather.com may still be the gold standard, there are several alternatives to check your local forecast from your mobile phone.

The latest I came upon was from the Weather Underground. If you can get by the text ad at the top of the page, it’s a useful little service that offers a bit more than most weather destinations.

In addition to a quick search by zip code or city/state, the site includes links to ski conditions, sever weather updates, and access to weather in the rest of the world.

If you are on a ski vacation and are wondering whether to hit the slopes or make it a day at the pub, try out The Weather Underground.
