We don’t typically regurgitate news stories that you can pick up from thousands of other websites. That said, it was exciting to see two different stories today on recent developments in the mobile web world.

Facebook, MySpace Leveraging Mobile Phones

The first was USA Today reporting on social networking sites using cell mobile services. The article also includes a summary of 11 different mobile services around social networking. No doubt we will be taking a closer look at those sites in the coming weeks. Read the article here.

Mobile Web usage in the US is still drastically low compared to Asia and, to a lesser extent, Europe. Regardless, these stories and others continue to point to positive developments in the mobile space in the US.
