Mobile Website Provides eBooks on Your Phone

December 16th, 2008 MobileFreak

e-Book readers such as the Kindle from Amazon have already caught on among early adopters of technology. With the advancement of mobile phone screens and user interfaces, reading e-Books on your mobile phone may also start to be commonplace.

If it does happen, Wattpad will be there to ride the wave. The site offers user-submitted short stories and books to be read from your phone, and highlights the most popular stories on the home page.

In our opinion, users will require certain phones that have reading-friendly displays to truly start reading stories or e-Books of any length. That said, this certainly has a nice niche that could get some momentum.

Check it out for yourself and let us know if you might be a mobile e-Book reader.
