Motorola Droid Coming to Verizon in November

October 19th, 2009 MobileFreak

The wireless community is all-a-buzz over the new Motorola Droid, a new phone based on the Google Android 2.0 mobile platform that will be available in November.

As you can see from the Motorola Droid commercial below, the new handset takes direct aim at the Apple iPhone, and by all accounts will be the closest thing to an iPhone killer that users have seen yet. The Droid release date has not officially been set yet, through plenty of rumors are lurking around very early November, just in time for Thanksgiving shopping.

Will the Motorola Droid keep Verizon users from switching to AT&T’s iPhone? What say you?
