NCAA Basketball Tournament Scores to Your Mobile Phone
March 11th, 2010 MobileFreak
Three short years ago, we posted details about how to get NCAA scores on your cell phone. As we gear up for another round of March Madness in 2010, we did a quick review of that article and it made us realize how much has changed since then.

One of our recommendations in 2007 was to get text message alerts from CSTV. Coincidentally, about 11 months later, CBS announced is was acquiring CSTV, and it then became part of the newly named “CBS College Sports Network.” (We will assume from this sequence of events that maybe, just maybe, the CBS execs read MobileMammoth.)
Today, of course, it goes without saying that you can get NCAA scoring updates via text message alerts, mobile websites, and through mobile apps for your iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry devices. The best we’ve seen in 2010 so far have come from, well, CBS Sports.
Test out the links below and try them for yourself.

Those are all pretty good apps. Being an iPhone user, I’m quite satisfied with it.
Till then,

That sounds great. I always watched NCAA basketball tournaments together with my friends. Now, I can catch NCAA scoring updates. Good thing that they were able to come up with this apps.

While not a big fan of NCAA, one app that is great for all sports lovers is SportsTap (android). Trust me guys…this thing rocks
On the first screen you get A list of all sports, with number icons showing how many current games/matches are going on.
for example, right now from 1 screen there are 3 MLB, 2 NBA, and 1 NHL games going on. only 2 clicks away are all the boxscores. A poolies dream boys.
