Olympia Washington Goes Mobile
October 30th, 2008 MobileFreak
We often discuss the very popular sites and applications from around the mobile web. But it’s also important to scan the rest of the mobile landscape and understand what is going well with the more niche applications and websites.
For example, take the capital of Washington state. One of the local newspapers, The Olympian, promotes its own mobile website at m.theolympian.com.
And they’ve done an excellent job with it – one that other media outlets can learn from. We will be contacting them to hear about what they’ve learned from developing their mobile site, what kind of response they are getting, and any future plans going forward. It should be interesting to hear, as there are thousands of other people going through the same learning experience as we speak. Stay tuned!
