OMG, Pope Benedict Sends Text Message

July 15th, 2008 MobileFreak

Pope Benedict XVI sent a text message to attendees at World Youth Day yesterday in Australia.

By all accounts, this is the first Pope to use text messaging to communicate to followers. Apparently the message went as follows:

“Young friend, God and his people expect much from u because u have within you the Fathers supreme gift: the Spirit of Jesus – BXVI”

We’ve offered up a custom version of our free text messaging tool, but GOK when that will happen.
