Outpost Implements GTD for the iPhone

July 9th, 2008 MobileFreak

If you have not yet heard of the productivity approach called Getting Things Done (GTD), you probably will. GTD has developed almost a cult-like following from those that have adopted it for their professional or personal lives (usually both), and the word is spreading.

There are several tools out there to help folks implement the GTD approach, and one of the more popular GTD apps is Basecamp.

Now there’s word that coming in August, the creators of Basecamp a new company called Morfunk is releasing a mobile version, dubbed Outpost.

Editor’s Note: Corrected the company that is developing Outpost. Morfunk (not 37signals) is the creator of this mobile application. Thanks to David Kaneda for the correction!

To clarify, Outpost is not being creating by the creators of Basecamp (37signals) but by Morfunk, which is an iPhone software company being started by myself and partner. For any questions, please check out our devblog at http://www.outpostapp.com/blog/. Thanks-
