Poll: Will you buy an Apple iPad this Weekend?
April 2nd, 2010 MobileFreak
Unless you’ve been too busy wondering what happened to your NCAA brackets, you’ve heard about the new iPad from Apple that goes on sale this Saturday.
Think of the iPad as a giant iPod Touch, with a 10-inch screen. Apparently great for surfing the web on the couch, playing apps, and watching videos (just not Flash videos). The critics pre-launch complaints include the lack of a camera, no support for Flash video (a long-standing issue with Apple), no USB port, and of course, no multi-threading.
Enough from the critics – most of them have never touched an iPad anyway, so what do they know? We want to hear from you – will this weekend’s launch be a boom or bust?

I just don’t have any use for one. I love my iPhone but the two products are the same except one is 3x the size of the other. The problem is they didn’t put any new features in to the iPad. I’m crossing my fingers that a new iPhone comes out this year with some drastic changes to both the hardware and the OS.
Till then,
Jean
I voted for Not a chance, I don’t know, this Apple product while cool and all, its just not worth the money for me. For that price I’d rather just spend it on a laptop or something like that.
I’ve voted maybe, I might buy Ipad I saw the features and it looks great and if there are cool apps available to download for Ipad like my iPhone’s app I’d surely buy Ipad. what I’d love about my iPhone is I have downloaded all the apps I want that is not yet available on Ipad. dreamwaks app http://www.dreamwalkmobile.com is one of the cool app on my iPhone where I can get a real prizes for treasure hunting.
No, I won’t buy that apple thingy.
I voted no, to me it seems like Apple is getting stale. Ever since apple released its iPod, Apple has been on a really good role, and has carried alot of momentum following the iPod. They’ve been a pretty good flavor over the past years, but to me… it just seems as a result of the iPod and its success that kick started the Apple brand. I mean really… Was Apple has hot before the iPod? I honestly don’t think so… Still though… what I mean by getting stale is… that Apple has not really innovated new products, they’ve really been just upgrading their version of the iPod if anything… and extending their “i” line.
Sorry for my rant…
Just sayin…
Probably going to go for the B&N Nook myself. While not a direct competitor it’ll do what I need.
I can’t believe how many units of this impractical gadget have been shifted. Yes, fair enough that this is quite a new type of product, but to be honest, wouldn’t you just rather get an iPhone?

i am planning to buy an iPad since it looks lighter than a regular desknote and i don not use much of the features of a laptop.*`-
I put in a maybe, although it will have to wait until at least one full revision the apple iPad once its really out there into the market, that way all the possible bugs and glitches are out of it. And plus… it may get some upgrades too you know? =D So I’d rather just wait to see how it all plays out.
