Send Encrypted Email from Your Mobile Phone
July 31st, 2008 MobileFreak
A friend just sent me some information about a relatively new mobile email service that adds encryption and other services to your email. Sweet!
Dubbed Hushmail, they just launched a beta of their mobile version, meaning you can now send encrypted email from your web-enabled mobile phone. The desktop version of Hushmail has been around since 1999.
Hushmail offers a free version that includes basic encrypted email services, and a premium version that includes the following features:
- Send and receive email from your desktop
- Receive encrypted email from your website
- 250 MB storage for email and secure file storage
- Unlimited pseudonyms
- Technical Support
Not too shabby! I have not used hushmail yet so I cannot speak to the quality just yet, but I definitely want to try it out as soon as I have time.
