Soonr Turns Your Mobile Phone into a Computer

December 8th, 2007 MobileFreak

The folks at Soonr have come up with a way to provide computer power on the mobile phone. Currently in beta, the Soonr service allows people to use their cell phone to access documents and even some applications which reside on their PC or Mac.

Basic accounts are currently free, and include access to photos and other files, and the ability share them with friends. Upgrading to the premium service provides encryption and back-up of the data, inexpensive international calling, and even access to the computer files when the computer is turned off.

This can be especially useful for those in industries that rely on hard copy documents, such as legal and real estate services industries. Give it a spin and let us know what you think.
