Thoughts and Prayers with Virginia Tech Community
April 23rd, 2007 MobileFreak
It’s hard to believe it has only been one week since the senseless attacks at Virginia Tech. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends who lost loved ones on that horrific day, the five victims who are still in the hospital with injuries, the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the people of the Blacksburg community.
Here are a few ways to show support:
- Wear Hokie colors burgundy and orange
- Give to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund
- Place a burgundy and orange bow or ribbon on your mailbox/front of house
- Join the student-driven pledge of support for the Virginia Tech officials
If you learn of other ways to show support, please do comment so we can all learn about them.
You don’t have to be a Virginia Tech student, alumni, Virginian or even an American. Because for right now, we are all Hokies.
