This is another mobile site for those looking to kill a little time.
This Day in Rotten News highlights odd, and sometimes depressing, headlines from years past. It is a slimmed down version of its main website, The Daily Rotten.
A word of caution — this site is written with a dark humor slant, so if you don’t get that, you may be offended at times. For example, today in 1996, professional bungee jumper Laura Patterson was killed while rehearsing jumps for the Super Bowl. This mobile site ends that news highlight with, “Way to go Laura!”.
Some might see their commentary as disturbing, but this site is clearly not meant for those people. I’ll put it this way — if you liked Pulp Fiction, you’ll probably like This Day in Rotten News.
