Top 5 iPhone Apps of 2010
January 24th, 2011 MobileFreak
Apple continued to impress with the iPhone and it’s iOS platform in 2010, with an estimated 47 million iPhones shipped. Much of the increased demand came from the release of the iPhone 4, which added a new hardware design, video camera capabilities, and several other extras.
Along with that demand came a host of new mobile apps for the iPhone in 2010. Here is the MobileMammoth version of the top 5 iPhone Apps of 2010:
- Instapaper: Technically not released in 2010 (or in 2009;), but still a classic that is worth keeping very high in this list.
- Price Check by Amazon: Faster than many of the bar code scanner pricing apps, and oh-so-handy at the big box stores.
- Read It Later: Available in both free and Pro editions, this app is great for those who find content they want to, well, read later. It’s especially useful for those who travel on planes or trains often, as you don’t need a connection to read the content.
- Cut the Rope: We are all about productivity, but we have to throw in a game and this one is particularly fun and addictive!
- Find My iPhone: Finally free! The lesson learned here is to continue commenting on apps in the App Store. Apple does listen.
Enjoy!
