Top Commenters Now on MobileMammoth.com

Some of you may have noticed a few new items on this site these past few weeks.
One I wanted to point out today was the Top Commenters feature on our home page. This means that anyone in the top 10 in terms of number of comments on this site will have their name (and a link!) listed on the home page. It goes without saying that comments are expected to add value, which is why I am more than happy to display your name and link in return. If anyone adds meaningless comments just to pad their comment count, they will be blacklisted.
The Top Commenters list takes the place of the BlogRush widget. The idea of BlogRush was to display links to related articles so that readers could find more information on the topic they are already reading about. While I do have a lot of confidence in the BlogRush team and what they are on to in the long run, it came down to relevance for our readers. Many of the BlogRush articles listed from MobileMammoth were completely unrelated to the mobile web. That’s not relevant for our readers, and that is why I removed it. Again, they do have a great team over there so maybe I will give BlogRush a shot again soon.
