Twitter Updates Customized for Your Mobile Phone

If you’re a heavy Twitter user and have a mobile phone, then take a look at Tiny Twitter.
Now, there are several ways to get Twitter updates (tweets) sent to your mobile phone. There’s even a mobile version of Twitter that we highlighted back in August of 2007.
What sets TinyTwitter apart is that you can determine what types of tweets you want to receive through this service, and they won’t come across as text messages. This can be particularly helpful for those heavy Twitter users who typically hate to have every update come across as a text message.
On a related note, I am happy to say I just created a MobileMammoth Twitter account last week. I was originally down on Twitter when it first came out, and could not imagine why people wanted micro-updates on everything that all their friends and colleagues are up to. I can now say I have seen the light, and the applications of Twitter are much more than what I had assumed. I’ve only just begun to use it, but I anticipate posting some Twitter-only updates on the mobile web, and maybe announcing MobileMammoth contests before the website will ever see it.
