Use Your iPhone to Get a Better Deal on Your Next Car

August 28th, 2008 MobileFreak

The next time you are in the market for a new or used car, bring along your iPhone. One of the most popular used car pricing guides in the U.S., the Kelley Blue Book, has published a mobile website designed for the iPhone.

While the site is marketed as being one for the iPhone, and it certainly has the look and feel of an iPhone application, the Kelley Blue Book mobile website can actually be viewed with any web-enabled mobile device.

With it, you can quickly research new and used car prices in your area, with minimal clicks. Simply enter your zip code, the make and model of the car you are researching, and the mobile website will display basic information about the car itself and the most recent price ranges in its database.

A used car dealer won’t be able to argue with trusted research in the palm of your hand. So go check it out now so you’ll know just what to do when that nice salesman comes to say hello to you in the showroom.

I just bought a used car a few months ago and I cannot believe how helpful Kelley’s Blue Book is. This would have saved me a ton of paper because I just printed them off and brought them to the car dealership. Hopefully it’s still around when I need to buy a new one (and hopefully that is in a long time).
